[Security] Thousands of WordPress Sites Hacked: A massive hacking campaign on WordPress is disclosed by cybersecurity researchers. Which is responsible for injecting malicious JavaScript into compromised WordPress websites that redirected visitors to scam pages or other malicious websites.

"It has been found that attackers are targeting multiple vulnerabilities in WordPress plugins and themes to compromise the website and inject their malicious scripts.

When the first wave of attacks began in May, it is believed to have impacted 322 websites. As the attacks progressed and grew more powerful, the damage became so severe that the number increased to over 6,500 websites.
